PO release Status

hi all,

What does "version in process" means in the release status of the PO.

    version Managment is activated in system "version in process" means if any changes taking place after release Once you released Purchase order completly

    again if you are going to change in ME22N

    then if version managment is active then system will crate version so that we can trace how many times PO has been changed

    to keep record of document chages

    Take text book version 1 ,1.1,1.2,1.3

    E.g SAP 4.6, and others
