Can I maintain different measures of units in material master and purchase order?

Hi,

You can maintain different units in material master & purchase order. Before maintaining different unit in purchase order, maintain the relation between the material master basic unit & purchase order unit & then enter the required unit in purchase order. If this unit is going to be regular unit in purchase order, then you can also maintain this unit in material master as Order unit in Purchasing view.

Hi!

Yes you can maintain a different UOM for purchase order rather than the base UOM in the material master. You have to maintain this in the Purchasing tab in material master as the order unit.

also can maintain in ME11- info record.
