Production Order

Hi,

While creating a Production Order, system is throwing error as 'Error in Cost Calculation'. Can anyone help about what could be the reasons?

    Dear Prashant,

    There could be many reasons.

    Check for the material for procurement type and price indicator.

    Check if price has been maintained.

    Check if any activity has been left without maintenance of the rate.

    In co02 go to LOGS cost calculation & please check the error.

    there may be some costing error

    Dear Prashant,

    There could be many reasons,Try using the following checks.

    1.Check whether proper price control indicator and values are

    given in the material master for all the items.

    2.Check whether proper origin groups is given in Costing1 view

    and proper valuation Class is given.

    3.Double Click on the error message which you are getting

    while production order creation and kindly read the diagnosis

    part and work accordingly.
