yes all of your replies have been helpful. however this is the message that pops up :
Production version not available; maintain material and product.version
You must enter the material and version number to select a production version. However, your entries are incomplete. The system could not select any production versions.
whenever i start creating it in the material master, no values can be found.

Hii Raf!!
When do you get this error messege. I guess when you use Backflushing, then you will get this error msg. Please suggest.
If my guess is right then for which material you are using MFBF (Backflushing), check its MRP-4 view, whether you have created production version or not.
waiting for your response. If it helps you, reward for the same.

Hi Raf,
For new production version u have to give the version Number & Name manually at MRP & Workscheduling View.
or u can also create New version at C223

Idealy Production versions are maintained in MPR 4 View but u can do this from WS view also
Ensure u first enter version number, text, valid dates and then continue
Can u tell what is the error appearing?
First try above solution and revert
