Dear friends,

Can anybody give some clarity on DIEN service master and AC03 service master.

On what specific purpose we need to use DIEN and AC03.

What i understood that When we are rendering services to the customer we need to create such service in MM01 as material type DIEn,

When we are hiring services from the vendor then we need to create service in AC03. Is it correct.

In both the cases what difference is there.

hi,

for sales of service, it will be agaionst DIEN.

for receiving the service use AC03.

ac03 u cant use for sales of service to customer

and AC03 for Procurement of services

Yes Anand

If you are selling the service then you can create master data in MM01 with mat type DIEN.

& if you are procuring the services then use AC03 to create master record for services.
