Connection to SAP Vora at OS level

Hi,

I have created a Vora instance using SAP CAL library with aws as hosting solution. The instance is properly created and activated. I have checked the http links available and its showing all hadoop and vora links working fine.

When I tried to connect at OS level I am able to connect to aws virtual machine using public IP. However from that point on I am not able to switch to Vora user as it says vora user does not exist. Can you please guide how can I access hadoop file system and vora user at OS level

vora is a user on Hadoop/HDFS, not the local node you are logged into. To access hdfs using the vora user, you can set the environment variable HADOOP_USER_NAME in whatever shell you are using to access hdfs.

Thanks Jason. I have figured this out as Vora 1.3 installation from CAL library is actually a docker container install. So I had to log to docker image in order to access vora and hadf commands.

    Used command : docker exec -i -t <<container id>> /bin/bash
