Enter shelf life expiration date in MIGO

Hello all,

I have created a PO and now I try to post the GR. When I press check I gett the message "Enter the shelf life expiration date", but there is no such field where I can write this information.

I have checked the settings in OMJ5 and maintained the data at material level.

What else cand I do?

Shelf life expiration date is available in the batch tab in the item level.

Please check if you entered some value in the shelf life fields in material master and did not make it batch managed.

In MIGO I don't have any Batch tab.........

Please check the PO for the shelf life expiry values. If it is not blank, please check the same field in the material master / info record.

I am assuming that you do not want the material to have an expiry date,

You have to enter either the production date or the shelf life date at the material tab in item detail of transaction MIGO.

my problem is that there is not such a field in migo screen.. i get the error message to enter that data, but no field where i can enter it

The batch tab will only appear if your material is batch managed.

But the material tab is always there.

And the fields in the material tab only show up if your material is maintained with a total shelf life at the storage location view.

And while maintaining the total shelf life in the material master, you get already a status message telling you that you have to enter the remaining shelf life when doing a goods receipt.

Have you customized your screen layout?

How many items do you have in your PO?

if more than one, are you sure that you are in the detail of the right one?

Just for further investigation: what is the exact message number?

Go to your MIGO transaction and hit the Configuration button (kind of table symbol) on the rright hand side of the item level screen

and then hit the adminastrator and go inside and remove the invisible check then you will see the field

If material is batch managed, you can find this field in Material tab in MIGO, please check.

Hi!

Check in OMJX if the SLED/BBD field is not hidden.
