    Dear Ashis

As suggested by Rajan, first you can try MMPI in development server. Also my request is that if you are not confident in any transactions, please test it in development server and once you are satisfied, the same can be done in production. For testing purpose only, we have been provided development server.

The most sensitive area in SAP is posting period and it is a normal tendency of people to double check with everybody before closing the period. It is really surprising how you have committed this mistake. I am sure, you will take my advice in right spirit.

Anyway check with your MM guys also (Rajan - is it FI or MM??)

    Thanks

    Hi Friend,

I suggest you to post this issue in FI Forum too as it is more releted to Finance you will get the better solution there.

You can try this also if you are comfprtable with:

Use MMPI transaction to open previous periods.

In SU3/SU2/SU01 transaction pass the Parameter ID (MMPI_READ_NOTE) with value (YYYYMMDD) ie 20080128 for today.
