Variables in GetQueryViewData

Hi,

We are running BW70 queries through a websevice using GetQueryViewData. We have the webservice running including picking up the variables. We run into one problem: the selected variables are taken into account but not given as output when they are also in result rows or colums of the query.

Example query:

Material Customer Volume

When we select one customer in the webservice, this selection is taken into account and the volume delivered is correct. Problem is that the result returned are only:

Material Volume

The selected customer is only present in element3 of the axis data. This poses a problem when selecting multiple customers since we are not able to link the correct customer to the correct result row.

Any experience or view on this problem ?

Thanks and Regards

We have found the answer: there is a variable FILTER_COLLAPSE that will give all characteristics back if it is given as input to the webquery as space:

    SAPHELP:

    FILTER_COLLAPSE (optional)

    ‘X’ = Yes, ‘ ’ = No

Removing filter characteristics from the drilldown

The characteristics that are specified under FILTER_IOBJNM are taken from the axes after the filter has been applied. If you do not specify the parameters, the system assumes you want to use the value ‘X’ = Yes.
