plz. tell me

" no of co products differs from no. of items in apportionment structure "

wat is mean by this

i found this prob. related to co-product -joint productioin

can anyone solve it with gving details

Sachin,

Check how many Co-Products exists in the BOM including. In the Material Master of the Header Material in Joint Production section you need to define all these materials along with the header material with Equivalence numbers. The sum of equvalence numbers should be 100.

Dear,

When you define a co product...you have to define in material master with a coproduct tick in MRP2 view.

In the *product *material master in the MRP2 view you need to define apprortionment structure whre you need to define how the cost has to be shared with co product..and you need to mention product and co product with % share.

Now you define the co product in BOM by giving -ve sign a nd co product tick. Here what you have defined and what you have define in Product material master is not matching...
