Deletion of Documents/Attachments in Content Server

Dear Basis/DMS Experts,

We have uploaded the Employee photos in SAP using archive link to a separate content Server. we have also redirected all the GOS attachments & SAP Office objects to Content Server for storage so that the memory of our main Hana DB is not consumed by these attachments. How can we delete them once they are not required. What is happening at the moment is that only the archive link is getting deleted (OAAD) but the orphaned data remains as such in the Max DB!

Would appreciate any reference to an SAP Note or other links.

We have a similar problem - when we delete the GOS attachments, only the links are deleted, but the original documents remain in the Content Server. We use the file system as a content repository. Did you solve your problem? How can we remove unnecessary data from the Content Server?
