The key to this is the validity date.

You can change the values as at a date in time, or you could retire certain cost centers and create new ones.

You need to think about the impact this will have on reporting, cost center groups and the way it affects PCA.

    Award points if useful.

    Hi Gopi,

You can restructure the cost center hierarchy by going into OKEON. there you can change the relevant parameters like Time Frame, Cost center category, busi. area, profit center, etc.

To change profit center & business area in the cost center it is necessary that there shouyld be no postings to that cost center.

After changing the hierarchy please make ambiguity check.

    Regards,

    Amol
