PRT availability check

Hi all,

In the PRT availability check, my user wants the inventory to be checked for some specific storage locations alone.

Is there any settings available to restrict for some specific storage locations alone in PRT Check.

Hi

There are 2 types of setting

For material level

Go to MMSC and put value 1 in MRP field

or

For plant level

Go to - Material Management - Consumtion based planning - planning - Define storage location MRP per plant

and put MRP indicator 2

Definately it will solve your problem

Dear Rajesha,

We will be attaching the PRT in to the Particular operation in the routing only.

Where we are mentioning the sloc in the order.

Even if you maintain the sloc in the issue storage location field of PRT material master, the field will allow only one sloc not more than that.

You can again revisit my question “A PRT called ‘X’ has been kept in 4 different slocs ex. SL01,SL02,SL03 & SL04.Out of this I need to exclude the SL02 & SL04 from availability check.”

It is more than one sloc.

Dear Amit

Your answer can be correct only for MRP.

But our requirement is on Availability Check.

Even with out MRP, User May create Manual order Through CO01.

This is at the time of Order Creation or Release.

Hi,

Pl first maintain the Scop of availibility according to client requirement . On that base system check the stock of PRT.

Hi Scope of availability has been set in the OPJJ.

You refer my previous answer on OPJJ.

As there is no option to maintain Storage locations to include or exclude.

suggest something fruitful.

dear,

In spro (OPJJ) check which checling rule has the following setting

storage location check - No storage loc check box is not active?

that combination of checking rule and checking group should be used for PRT.

See the more information as below

Availability checking in SAP

Ave checking is done in SD/PP/MM....hence it is made of two parts

Checking rule and checking group

Checking rule(CR) is decided by the function. like for SD it is A, for PP module it is PP...

Checking group(CG) is the value you enter in MRP3 view for a material in the plant level

Hence combination of CR and CG will control how the material is to be checked for availability, in we define in Customizing what are the elements to be considered. like Stock, receipts like PO, issues like reservation from production order...

in OPJJ you can see the details of whether storage location stock to be considered or plant level stock to be considered.

if you activate the check no storage loc insp then stock is considered as plant level, if you uncheck it stock will be considered for ATP @ stocrage loc level mainatined in the transaction during ATP check.

Availability check 02 Individual reqmt

Checking Rule PP PP checking rule

I can only find settings related to stock type,inward/outward movements,RLT,sloc inspecn,Mising parts processing & Receipts in the past.

I couldn’t find any option to specify Storage locations.

Can u suggest me any other option.

My Requirement is as simple as that the availability check should consider the stock of few slocs like SL01,SL03 & SL05 out of 10 SLOC (SL01-SL10).in the same plant

How to include or exclude some specific slocs alone in the availability check.

Dear,

See your answer---

I can only find settings related to stock type,inward/outward movements,RLT,sloc inspecn,Mising parts processing & Receipts in the past

Ia m talking about the "sloc inspecn"...is the check box is active? if active remove that and save. So that system will check the avaiability at the storage location what you have enterd in PRT screen in production order.

Storage loc will not be there in scope of check

i hope u got it, or pl come back

Dear in this case,

Just you think about this situation.

A PRT called ‘X’ has been kept in 4 different slocs ex. SL01,SL02,SL03 & SL04.

Out of this I need to exclude the SL02 & SL04 from availability check.

As per your suggestion if I uncheck "sloc inspecn".system will see the stock where it stored.so, it will check all the slocs.

Is there anyway to include & exclude some particular no of slocs from availability check.

If u uncheck this, then the system will serach the stock in the storage loc whatb you have maintained in the production order, let us say you maintained SL02...against the PRT...system will check onky in SL02.

i hope you got it
