Does License Require for SDK to access Sybase data from C# ADO.Net?

Hi

There is a requirement to Access Sybase data from .Net Application using ADO.Net given by your Sybase SDK.

Now I have question as-

1. Do we need any License in order to use Sybase SDK?

2. If Yes then, If my client has Sybase database with genuine License then still require License for SDK?

Hi,

You do not need a license for the SDK for SAP ASE.
If the customer has a license for ASE they should have access to the SDK for SAP ASE on their download site.

We do offer a free SDK for development.

Hi Dawn, Thank you for reply, kindly could you provide the link of same. I have one more question related to SQL Anywhere16/17 SDK (SQLA16_Windows_Client), is that also free for development?
