Error: Dist. channel is missing for condition conversion (Sales Org, DC)

Hi Gurus,

I've created a new sales area (Define and Assign) and when I executed the consistency check, i got this error: Dist. channel is missing for condition conversion 0005 01. The same error shows for division. Also, when I created a customer, the sales area is not showing in the list. Need your expertise.
