help me on SAP Logon Tickets...

Hi All,

try helpin out me

SSO acheived between portal and a java legacy server.

Logon ticket contains Logged In UserID for authentication.

Most of the applications on the legacy server need employee number, comp code,.etc.. as a parameters.

So i had to had to store all these data intermediately and pass it on.

As of this i need to hit the DB each time i access an application in the legacy to fetch the required params.

Since all these details are in my UME, cant i by some means send these parameters in the ticket/allong witht he ticket..???...!!!

Cant we customise the logon ticket itself to carry the required data..???

    Hi hari,

Please make sure whether you configured the Portal user on Backend system,(i mean SU01). if the user exist means ok.

then please Check the StrustSS02 transaction, their you find a verify.der is avail or not. if not please get it from your Portal frontend system and Configure their in Backend system.

    Most probably it will work.
