Field lenght extension of certificate number field in LT01 transaction

Hello experts,

My requirement is to extend the length of certificate number field in LT01 transaction (LTAP-ZEUGN), which of char 10 type to char 12.

How to achieve this ?

Thanks Hema for your quick reply. However, i have some clarification. LTAP is a standard table and the domain LVS_ZEUGN is a standard one too. I want to know that if this field extension is possible through some exits.

Hi Vijaya Lakshmi,

You can change the field length to 12. Recreate the table maintainance and activate and adjust DB using SE14.

means,

First u change ur field's domain length. Then thru SE14 data base utility u have to adjust the database & activate the same. Or from SE11 open the ZTable, from menu bar Utilities===> Database utility u can adjust the database.

This will solve ur problem.
