Need

HI,

Right now i am working implementation project. i.e education domain.

My requirement is to extract data oracle to r/3 i.e DB extraction

After DB connection, we need to prepare info cube..

Right now my question is we have 15 oracle tables,each table consists of 60 fields..

for all table can i prepare one info cube...or different info cube..

    Hi,

    This depends on your reporting requrements. Based on that, you need to identify the required fields from Oracle. If a single table is feeding the required data no issue. If not you may have to create a view (@ORA) and need to use it in your DB Link. In case you need all the 15 Tables , better you group them on some functional criteria, may be 5 or 6 Groups and you can create 5 or 6 cubes corresponding to the above areas. Each area may get its data from single table or Multiple Tables (Create View).

    You want to extract to R/3 or BW ?

    you have mentioned R/3 and have mentioned cubes - is it for ECC ?
