Unable to compress a request (2lis_03_bx)

Hi experts

here i am loading data to 0ic_c03 but when i load initial stock(bx) and i am trying to compress a request it is not working when i see the job it is in cancelled state pls anybody help me it is verry urgent

just any body tell how to load data in to 0ic_c03 cube here i am using standard one

Hi Anand,

Let us know why the Compression has failed only then we can have comments.....check in SM37 for that compression job why it has failed.

Go In SM37 Give the JOB Name of Compression if u know or write BI_COMP* in the Job Name Input box, this will give u the list of compression jobs the status of ur job will be cancelled search over here u will get ur job and then selectur JOB. There is a button called "JOB LOG" Click on it this will show the whole steps in the process of compression.

U can find the reason of failure of this job.

Assign Points if this helps u.......

Hi,

Go to SM37 and check why the job gets cancelled, if you double click on the job, it will give all the steps, and also at which step it got failed.

If you click on the longtext, you will get the long message of the error and also some help.

One more thing, go to ST22, and check whether there is any short dump occured for the Compression job.

And try to analyse the cause.
