what is the difference b/w technically complete and complete business in maintenance work orders?
Hi Khaled,
From a business process perspective technically complete is generally used when the technical work in the field planned as part of the work order is complete. This can be set by either the maintenance supervisor or the planner based on the business process at clients. Once this is set most of the changes on the work order are restricted except things like changing user status, charging time, performing goods movement, creating and releasing a service entry sheet.
Business complete is generally set after a few weeks/months of technically complete and it basically is set up once all the financial transactions associated to the work order are complete and the work order costs are completely settled. After business complete is set up then none of the changes or transactions like time charging, settlement, goods movement etc are allowed against the order.
Let me know if you need more details on this.
