Goods Receipt done on MIGO but Stock not reflecting in MMBE

Hi Experts,

Please note I have created a purchase order without any Account Assignment and MIGO_Goods receipt also done and material document also got generated,but Stock not get visible in MMBE.This is the first goods receipt for this material and stock in MMBE showing as "zero".so please advice to solve this issue.

Note: This is the first goodsreceipt Iam trying in this IDES version

what Kind of stock do you expect for an account assigned PO?

Third-party POs are not supposed to create stock, as your vendor delivers directly to your customer

Hi Jurgen,

Noted the PO with Account Assigned as 3rd party order,so no stocks are taken to MMBE.

Kindly advice what configuration steps need to follow to raise a purchase order without Account Assignment?

Note: In another server, I raised a purchase order without Account Assignment (Pls refer the screenshot) and able to post the Goods receipt and stock shown in MMBE.

What configuration are you looking for ? The process which you have followed in another server, you just need to follow the same in this server.

you just must avoid to type or select the "1" in the account assignment category field when you create the PO if you do not want that. It's just so easy.

A general advice, try to do something logical, you will get less failures and error messages, all illogical stuff can create sooo much nonsense that you do not really learn anything from it. I know that one can learn from mistakes, but having to fix countless issues to get something run because of fake data is just blurring the understanding.

When I look at your PO and see a creation date of 15.09.2017 and a goods receipt posting date of 14.05.2016 then there is something fundamentally wrong.

Hi Jurgen/ Dibyendu,

Sorry for the confusion.I got error msg on "commitment to line item 10" when I try to create the Purchase order without account assignment and Now it got sorted out and able to raise the PO without account assignment and stock shown in MMBE as well.

Reg the discrepancy with the PO creation date and GRN date due to I am not changed the posting period from 2016 to current year in one server.so doing MIGO in the yesr 2016.

How can you say "PO is without account assignment" if you have clearly an entry in in the account assignment category field in your screenshot?

Sorry...I am mistakenly mentioned as "PO without account assignment".

Please find the screenshot of "PO with Account Assignment Tab". Kindly advice on the above issue.
