Can SAP HEC host anyDB systems

Hi,

Can you please confirm if SAP HEC environment host SAP Business Suite/SAP BW systems running on anyDB.

As per my understanding for HEC, it’s an SAP private cloud hosting service, it hosts SAP Business Suite software, like SAP HANA custom and out-of-the box applications and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse software on a single instance of the SAP HANA in-memory database platform.

SAP might have separate Cloud environment just like AWS/Azure which can host anydb systems, but whole purpose of HEC/HCP is for hosting and managing SAP HANA solutions

According to below article, we can move existing setup, however only for brief period, if so, whats the duration till we can run the systems on HEC as non HANA.

A – Move to HEC with existing setup

B – Perform version upgrade

C – Gradually migrate to SAP HANA from Oracle
