back date posting in cash journal

Hai all,

my client wants to prevent the end user from entering the cash journal entries in any back date. Is it possible ? Plz suggest ways.

    Hi Ramesh,

    We can not restrict the back date entry for cash journal as in SAP we can lock for a period not for the range of dates.

    But you have to talk to your tech.team, whether they can write any user exit which will not allow back date entry for cash journal.
