bill of Material in SD

How can I create a Materials and a bill of materials so that I can see the the material and the bill of this material in SD.

I hope you are asking about MTO scenario.

Create product material master with stg group 20 in MRP3 view. and ind/coll requirement = 1 in MRP4 view

Creata bill of materialin CS01 where you use the usage of bill of material = sales and distribution

In MM03 and CS03 you can view the BOM and material

Hi,

we have a traley. the troley contains 4 drawers. In each drawer there are 10 parfume. SD wants to controle or check the how many parfume are there in the troley or in each drawer after seeling. how can SD display it. Is it enough to create a BOM with usage = SD?

Hi Dede,

If you want to create material BOM use CS01 for creation and CS03 for display.If you want to create sales order BOM use CS61 for creation and CS63 for display.

You can create material through MM01 and anyone can see this material from MM03.

You can create BOM through CS01 and in the initial screen select appropriate BOM usage(BOM usage '5' for SD)and through CS03 you can see this BOM.
