How to pass prompt selections to Filter panel.

I am using Design studio 1.6

The application when executed - opens a prompt where user have to select a Value for "Sales ID" dimension, how can I pass the value in selected in prompts to my Filter panel.

Ex : If user selects 1001 in prompts this values has to be shown in filter panel.

Hi Vijaykumar,

As a best practice, you should not mix prompt variables and Filter Panel selections. In fact, there is no need to pass the a prompt variable selection to the Filter Panel because the data set will already have been restricted by the prompt variable.

If a dimension has an associated prompt variable, then I recommend that you exclude this dimension from the Filter Panel via the Dimensions property in the Properties Sheet.
