Hi,

I configured leave encashment workflow ws1890044 just by activating that and the approver determination was done in badi as per standard .we given the same step and we trying to create a leave encashment request, that is not shown in approvers inbox in portal but the workflow is started . The work item is waiting in approver’s business workplace. But it is not shown in portal. Please help me on this issue.

We are facing two problems

1. Work item is not waiting at approver’s inbox (correct approver determined through badi) but work item is waiting at some other user inbox.

2. The work item is not populated into portal?

Small help is also appreciated very greatly........

    Hi,

You should check it again because if correct user is determined than it will not go to any other user or check the activity in wf templete the assignment.

About portal to have to do some customizing to get the work item on portal.

    Hi

That is highly standard workflow .

Except activating we didn't have oppurtunity to do any thingthere.

because it is closely integrated to sap standard function modules.

    Hi,

Please check this links will help you for Workflow and EP integration process.

    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/39/a1bb5c4c0d4ab4a417e87ef35f1efa/frameset.htm

Workitem is going to other's inbox means you have not mentioned properly in Responsible agents.

Please check there in that step..(Check that Rule/else).

It is not possible to change in your workflow, then you need to copy that standard workflow and do changes as per your requirement for sending mails to Responsible Agents.

    Thanks and Regards,

"The work item is waiting in approver’s business workplace. But it is not shown in portal."

"Work item is not waiting at approver’s inbox (correct approver determined through badi) but work item is waiting at some other user inbox."

Does this mean in R/3 - SBWP you can see the workitem under the correct users login whereas in portal it is shown in some other users inbox?

If this is the case i can only guess that your user mapping itself is wrong.

    Thanks,
