Blank confirm goods screen

I'm hoping that someone else may have encountered this same issue. We are on SRM 4.0.

A user is getting a blank screen when they select Confirm Goods/Services within the portal. They do not appear to be having any other issues with the other SRM transactions. She has the appropriate job role in order to do confirmations.

Any ideas as to why she is getting a blank screen?

Hi Monique,

Please ask the Requisitioner to click on "Extended search" and make sure other selection fields are not populated.

In some cases, if some selection fields are populated, they may not be shown up in Simple search screen.

Please check this and reward points if the hint is useful.

Thanks & Regards,

Venkat

There is nothing for the user to click on. They have a completely BLANK screen. I wish I could attach the screenshot the user sent to me so that y'all could see what I am talking about.

Hi Monique,

we once faced the same situation in a SRM 4.0 environment. There was a note implemented changing something for the shopping cart. Can't remember the note. The side effect was, that all status screens as well confirmations screens were blank. Note removed, and the screens were back.

Cheers,

Claudia

Thanks. But, if it was due to a note, all users would be experiencing the same problem. I really believe it has something to do with the user and how she is accessing the SRM system.

Hi

Please confirm this !!

1) Is this happening with all users having same roles/profiles attached to those similar type of SRM users. ?

2) If the user uses simple search and gives timeframe as empty, then is the person able to find the PO ?

3) If the user uses extended search and gives the PO number, then is he able to find the PO ?

Some related useful pointers ->

Do let me know.

Regards

The user has the same role as everyone else. Like I said, she has a completely blank screen so there are no options to select the timeframe like everyone else does.

I don't know if it would help her to delete her cookies. I asked her to do that already but I don't know if she has.

Things to try:

1. Delete cookies (your idea)

2. Let her press Ctrl+F5 (this forces a re-load of the complete page from the server instead of from the cache)

3. Check for a popup blocker

4. Delete temporary internet files
