I think

For Perfume, you can go with material type FERT - since it finished product

For Troley, like Senthil mentioned either Material Type LEER ( Industry Empties) or LGUT ( Retain Empties)

For Drawers, you can try for ROH - As Drawers is used in support the perfume, & it is not saleable item

Regarding Industry Sector - Mechanical Engg

Screens are taken care by combination of material Type & Industry Sector

Hi,

I can't give material type Fert for the parfume because I buy them, put in the drawers and sell only the parfume.

Is it normal to give LEER for the troley because I don't sell the parfum with the troley.

I use the troley (the troley contain drawers with parfume) to transport the parfume. After selling the parfume the same troley with drawers will be use for another demand.

Thanks

Hi,

Is it wright if I use semifinished Prod as Material type for troley and drawers but in the view MRP2 I put Dummy as special procurement.

Can I also use as Material type VERP for Troley and drawers?

Its seems like your Industry is Retail Business ( Where no mfg takes place, manufacturers keep their finished products in your warehouse )

Since you are not manufacturing any thing so there is no need of creating BOM.

For perfumes you can use material type as HAWA (trading goods) since you are just purchasing from outside and selling it.

For Troley & drawer you can use material type HIBE (operating supplies) .

Since these materials you are purchasing but not selling or manufacturing.

Hi,

Thanks for the informations.(no manufacturing no need of BOM)

But the SD need to have a look on the troley I mean display the all material in the troley and the material in each drawer.

How can I do it if we don't have BOM.

without BOM How can you plan (MRP) to purchase the parfume.

Troley and drawers as HIBE? (we don't purchase them because we still have them and we use the same troley every time after selling parfume)

Thanks

If you want to see how much material is available in Trolly/Drawer then you should create/treat them as storage location and after then you can able to see the availble perfumes/material in drawer.

Through BOM you cannot get these data because the purpose of BOM is to tell the system that to produce a material ,what are the components we need to produce that material and how much we need.

Regarding planning of perfumes you can use consumption based planning which will be similar to Raw material Planning. For RM we don't create any BOM for Raw material and planned according to past consumption data or as you wish as there are so many planning strategy available for Raw material planning in SAP.

Hi,

You can try material type LEER (Industry empties) or LGUT (retail empties).
