How do multi-dimension condition scales work? Is one triggered and the result used to trigger a second scale ID? Are they exclusive?
PLEASE DO NOT COPY SAP HELP. I read it, but am now posting to get better understanding.
I used a Multi dimention with a scale.

Thanks for asking.
Customer wants to determine rate based on mileage scale. Once the rate is obtained, multiply times the net weight.
Ex:
Delivery Weight 48800 lbs
Mi Minimum Rate
100 250 min .55
200 250 .45
300 250 .35
If delivery is 245 miles, then multiply .45 * 48800 to get the rate.
The system has two conditions
1 weight based
2 distance based
System executes above (.45 * 48800) = 219.60
But then it also takes the result and then multiples * distance
219.60 * 245 = 538.02
Hi Anabela
Please can you assist me.
I am experience a similar problem to what you are had .
Please could you advise if you had a special requirement in your procedure for the condition type
and did you use a scales formulae to carry out your calculation of the: km x rate in the scale = Total result ?
Kind Regards

Create a condition that is multi-dimensional calculation type. enter the desired ref. in the scales for condition type. Create a scale using VS01. Then create the condition. It is important to set up the scale correctly. I am not expert in scale creation and found the one needed through trial and error.
Hope this helps.
