Parallel run MRP reg.

Hi frnds,

i need to run MRP with scope of planning, while running MD01 system says only in the parallel mode, scope of planning works. if i set parallel processing indicator, i am getting message that "please check destinations for parallel MRP.

please advice at the earliest.

IN SPRO (Production -> Material Requirement Planning -> Define Parallel Processing in MRP)

You have to define the ”Destinations for Parallel Processing“:

The value of Destination for parallel processing must be different for different servers

thanks for reply, here in development the values for destination for parallel processing are back, none erpdev_DEV_00. in one of my dev server last one is defined.

if want to make this setting in production what must be the standard one i have to choose.

Yes. In production if the server is different, it should be done in production

Hi Daniel,

You have to mention the server name of Production Server.

For this from system menu you can get the server name.

Go to System---->Status and on the System:Status screen, you can find the server name in the Host data .

Or you can also consult your BASIS person.

In the No. of sessions field you can maintain value as 1.

Everywhere I used it and it is working fine.

As per my knowledge this indicates that in how many Sessions/Screens System should execute the MRP transaction.

You need to enter the plants in sequence so that system will plan all the plants materials in sequence.

Here you maintain the server and sessions so that system will decide to run the MRP in different sessions so that MEP will come with results very fast
