Hi Experts,
Whenever the PI message gets failed with any of the reason, we do have Java mail alert set up in place with customized template in our landscape.
Now I have a requirement where I have to set up Java stack alert email notification after the file/message processed successfully from PI. We are using SAP PO 7.4 single stack.
Could you please help me with the solution steps for the required setup.
Appreciate your quick help!
Thanks
Gayathri.
Hi Apu,
Thanks for your reply.
I have already implemented successful notification by using Mail package, and also with some Java code.
Java stack alert is also in please when ever the message gets error. But now, my client is asking me to build alerts like the way we did for Java stack alerts, in the same way he want me to implement for successful messages.
I just wanted to know whether this is possible or not accordingly I will try to convince my client.
Thanks
Gayathri.

Hi Gyatri,
I don't think you can get alert for successful messages. Alert is designed to get the mail when some situation will arise in the system that needs to look immediately.
If you want to get mail for successful messages then you need to think it in a different way as per your existing design.
For example,
If you have a File to Proxy scenario, then write some additional codes in the inbound proxy to send mail to the concerned party once data will be updated successfully in the database tables. There are some other way around as well where you can design some scenarios using mail adapter to send one success mail to the concerned party.
Thanks,
Apu
