I am trying to create a SAP Screen Personas screen that will run a program in SE38. I am wondering is there a way I can create a button that will take me to SE38 and run the program with a click? Right now, I have to type in Se38, then program then execute.
You can certainly have a script button that navigates to SE38, enters the program name then hits the Execute button.
Most of your users will probably not have authorization for SE38 though, so for running a program, you may be better off using transaction SA38 instead. There is a greater likelihood that SA38 authorization is available.
