Have looked at the available tables in the library setup (GR21), most are summary and totals related except for maybe SIS related (not my area).
Could be possible that some have created new tables to this list?
Was wondering if anyone has actually used painter for AR or AP reporting eg. SALES - COGS = PROFIT by customer?
Do share your experience. TQ.
Hi,
Report painter reports are created in a library. Only one table can be assigned to one library. So multiple table reports cant be created in report painter.

I assume as much.
Looks like I have to rely on ABAP.
Looking at COPA, the reports can't seem to have flexible content across the axis. Eg. if I want customer numbers to appear as rows, it can't be done. COPA like painter only can have fixed columns or rows, right?

It is quite possible to use Report Painter/Writer for AP and/or AR reporting provided that the fields required in the report are available in the existing libraries and tables.
We have created many report painter reports in AR and AP Like Adhoc Balances Report and Year End Balances Report.
Hope this helps. Do reward points if it serves your purpose.
Thanks,
Sandeep

As your heading implies details as in every single row in details (example BSID,BSAD ) I would still suggest the earlier posts. But if you are really interested in finding profitability , then SIS is the better bet. But since you said its not relevant then we need to exclude this. Another possibility is COPA. which you need to activate the profit segments and assign it for each trx for u to capture and display using drill down reports.
Nope not using Report Writer/Painter!, not that I know of. If you really want to have details by line, then you might as well create a query using SAP query or Quickviewer or you might consider drilldowns which is standards for all modules.
