Business Valuation Entries

When we do our first consolidation, we keyed in our investee's book value as well as % in owership. Then later, after revaluation was done, the investee's book value increases. how does BCS handle this increment? does it automatically recalculates the differences with the % of ownership?

    Hi,

Very much depends on location of values (it's a setting in consolidation of investments functionality).

If investments and equity are supplied with totals data, then the new % coming in the investment item should trigger the ownership recalculation.

In case if you provide investment and equity with additional financial data, the system will wait until your enter those data into appropriate ODS/DSO structures.
