    Hi,

we are about to release a series of articles walking through most aspects of BC and how they can be represented in XI/PI.

This is based on a number of years of working in this space both on product development and customer projects (lessons learnt, etc.).

Most existing information regarding migrations from BC to XI are simply very superficial or in cases even misleading.

The reasoning for us to release quite a bit of IP in this space is to create awareness of the complexities within large scale BC migrations and hopefully create some discussions regarding the right ways / alternatives to resolve these challenges (maybe even as a result identify new PI features which would be nice to have).

The [www.bc2xi.com |http://www.bc2xi.com]site does no longer exist as a separate site and is now pointing to the main site [www.sisusoftware.com|http://www.sisusoftware.com]

We will release the articles either on SDN or our website (find it through my profile). Looking forward to some critical feedback after the release!

    Cheers

    Kalle

    Hi,

Please find here with you the Roadmap for migrating BC to XI

--take a look how the process looks like in BC

--create the same in BPM (sometimes change the RFC for instance - no bapi commit on XI side)

--migrate mappings as they where designed in "flow"

    --create routing in Directory

The Roadmap depends upon individual perceptive about migrating BC to XI.

Similar to Creating Routing in xi directory: Need to create all routing rules

like those in BC - the same idocs, RFCs, MQ interfaces

    migration procedure for mappings:

all of the mapping where desined in flow language so Need to rewrite them into XI mappings

If you are looking for any specific info then let me know about it.

How to move SAP BC config automatically to SAP XI?

    Thanks
