change requests after upgrade from 7.1 to 7.2

We are upgrading our solman from 7.1 to 7.2. Question is - would the existing charm requests (Normal or urgent) still be usable after 7.2 upgrade in the new phase cycle? Are we supposed to close the existing change requests that are still in development phase and decouple the transports?

Any issues in this regard after upgrading?
