OS : AIX , DB: Oracle ,SAP PO : NW 7.5 (JAVA only), SAP NWDI : NW 7.5

CMS or CM service : Not yet decided

PO -- DEV,QAS and Prod

NWDI - Single system

Now please let me know whether /usr/sap/trans from PO(DEV) needs to be nfs mount to NWDI system for transport of objects.

Hi Rakesh,

I would suggest to take a look at the following SAP Note:
1775838 - CMS / CM Services: What to use in which scenario?

It will help you to decide between CMS and CM Services.

Related to the configuration I would suggest the following documentations:

In case of CM Services:

https://www.sap.com/documents/2015/07/d65cedc0-5b7c-0010-82c7-eda71af511fa.html#

In case of CMS:

https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=311133433

https://blogs.sap.com/2012/05/11/di-73-post-installation-configuration-cms-wizard/

In the last bog post you can see that: "give Transport directory correctly which should be existing at OS level and give Domain name as well in the wizard."

I hope I could answer all of your question.

Best regards,
Szabolcs

cms is more easier to setup and run, I think. The functionality provided with CMS is enough

You don't have to mount the file path.

Whether it is enough or not, depends on the concrete scenario.

Often, transporting with SCA granularity, is not enough to meet the business requirements.

This is why the CTS+ has been introduced (since SAP NW 7.02).
