XI - SXMB_MONI - processing xml messages

Hi All,

I have one application. From the portal , we will select the file and we click on upload button.

Then the file will be placed in one common folder and then file formats are checked and thru idoc it will be placed in R/3 system. From r/3 system sales order will be created. This is done thru XI system . But if i check in the transaction sxmb_moni for processed xml messages, i am not able to get the order types or the file which gets uploaded. it's not processing. What could be the reason?

Any suggestions or kindly provide some solutions for this problem.

Regards

vijay.

Just to add to this please check the file path carefully!!! This path differs in the UNIX('/') environment from WINDOW's('\') environment. Please check the hosting environment of XI box also !!!

SXMB_MONI is used to monitor the workflow of a process.

It must be necessary that the adapters are installed carefully with appropriate sender and receiver communication channel.

Sender agreement and File Adapter in the Sender Communication Channel must indicate the path clearly where the file is placed.

Receiver determination, interface determination and sender agreement must be consistent.

1. Check if the XI system is able to recognize the directory where you place the files. I assume that you are using a file adapter and an idoc adapter to send the file to r/3.

2. Check if you have activated all the objects in the XI design and config.

SXMB_MONI is where you can check the processing in Integration Engine. If you do not find an entry here, then it might mean that there is a problem in the sender adapter. Make sure you configure the File adapter, receiver determination and interface determination along with the necessary mappings, if any to get it to the Integration Server.

You need a Sender agreement and File Adapter in the Sender Communication Channel referring to the directory where the file is placed along with the above.

Please follow the steps to configure the file adapter correctly.
