Dear friends,
I have a problem which is, SAP always check first all the mandatory fields before taking the values.
For example, if there are 3 fields mandatory A, B & C
i put value in A (10 for example), system doesn't take it into account till i enter values in both B & C.
Is there a way to change this??
Thanks
If it is a customer, vendor and material master u can change the mandatory field by changing the layout settings.
For Cusotmer master, OBD2
For Vendor master , OBD3
for material master, OMS9

Dear Ali,
If you are entering data in customer master, then you can change the fields as per your requirement. In the Account groups used, you can select the fields and make them to become mandatory,or supressed according to your requirment. If the field is mandatory, SAP will not allow you to continue further until and unless you enter the proper value in that field.
Please let me know where else you have this problem
reward if helpful
