Unable to access iView through browser.

I created an iView for a transaction code and associated the same to a Page in the Enterprise Portal.

Now, when I am trying to access this page ( iView ) through browser from a system on which the SAP GUI is not installed, it is showing me a dialog box asking to SAVE the file "tx.sapssd".

On the other hand when I am atrying to access the same page (iView) through browser from a system on which SAP GUI is installed the iView shows the screen of the respective transaction code.

My question is - Do we need to have SAP GUI installed on the system for accessing R3 through EP (Internet browser).
