how to link functional locations to equipment through object link concept

we have air handling units which cater different locations, each location taken as functional location . if i want equipment for different F.location . how will i use object link concept

You could investigate:

• Network IDs (OINI) in conjunction with network links, though I suspect that wont work either
• Installed base - again I dont think this will work
• Classification - this will definately work
• Customer spcific screen on the FLoc/Equip via use-xit ITOB0001 - again this will work
• An external mapping table and tranaction

Objects links are created within the same objects ie Functional location to functional location object link or equipment to equipment object links. You cannot create object link between functional location to equipment in the SAP.
