Hi ,

Is there any way by which the configuration changes which we do in the managed system can be documented.

The configuration document which we generate has the list of all the IMG objects which we maintain under the configuration tab but there is no information about the actual configuration which we do. Do you know any way by which the changes made in the managed system are documented?

Users expect that from solution manager if they will do configuration using the configurations tab then that will automatically get documented "what objects or values we are changing" and we can get it when we generated the configuration guide.

Is it possible in solar02?? Please Reply.

Thanks,

Kiran

Hi Kiran

The only feature I can think of is the use of BC Sets in order to record the customizing they perform. You can have a look at below threads. If you create and include BC Sets, they should also be referenced into the configuration document that is generated but if this is going to be sufficient, I don't know, I would say give it a try and provide feedback as this can be of interest to others as well.
