Need to send file .xls into Business Workplace from abap code

Hi Guru.

I need to send a file .xls into Business Workitem from Abap Code.

I use the function SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1, but it don't work correctly.

If the file has forty columns, the function send a file with the first fifteen columns.

Can we help me?

    Hi AR,

    you could also use FM SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 to send attachments,

    but since you said you want to send it to your SAP Inbox, I think you need to create an object of your Inbox do some OOABAP, only by which you could attain your issue.

    Nevertheless, I shall also be watching this thread for our WF Gurus to answer.

      As Aditya said i had used this "SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1" once to send the data as XL sheet. I used "cl_abap_char_utilities=>horizontal_tab" as column separator and "cl_abap_char_utilities=>newline" as row separator.

      We did have some issues in formatting. Hence we left the first row and column as blank and it worked for us.
