Version

Hi all,

I have a problem that I expect resolve with your help.

I have a scenario with several SOAP messages.

Now, I have to create a new version of message M1, but can't modify the old. So, I need two versions working together.

Until I know, I would have to create a new message (M2). Is that correct?

If the answer is yes, I have a problem, because the WSDL will be different and the java classes generated will be different too (the name of the class is taken from the name of the message). So I will have to rewrite java code.

Thank you

    cant oyu copy your message.

if yes, copy your message with different name.

then no need to create something new in java.

    Pls reawrd if found helpful.

If I use a different name for the message, the java class generated will be different. I use Axis.

Is it posible to use message version ?

You can only use the active versions of the objects, which is always the latest version.

Therefore, you can't process two objects with the same names and types simultaneously. Object version is not enough by itself for a distinction of this type.
