Hi Experts,

Please explain to me in work scheduling view we have an " serial number profile",what is the purpose "serial number profile"please give me an brief explanation ??

and how will impact (or) how it's checking the serial number profile during order creation(T-code CO01)time.and Order Release(CO01/CO02) time.can you explain in brief.?

Hi Sree Ram,

Serial Number profile is nothing but our internal reference, Based on different profile we can set the number range series during the serial number creation.

Please refer the below user exit,

EXIT_SAPLIPW1_001, When implementing this we can customize our number range series.

Note : Above user exit will trigger when selecting create automatically.
