Hello,

Need help to find out where used for logical component group in sap solution manager 7.2.

I am facing an issue in deleting Logical Component Group in soladm. When i try to Delete i get error message saying Logical Component still in use.

I want to know where my logical component Groups are still used.

Please let me know how to find where used for Logical component groups.

In 7.1 we could able to check where used for logical component in LMDB. But in 7.2 i am not able to find any such option in LMDB.

Vijay

Hello All ,

Though this post is of very old however will try to answer this . LCG are across the banches and logical component . In order to over come the issue of deleting the LCG with that above asked exception follow below steps to delete it .

1. In LMDB select the LCG . Choose Edit in assigned techincal systems , product systems under the logical component select them and confirm delete .

2. Now navigate to SLAN transaction or thorugh the initial screen of the LMDB to mainatain the logical component group , select the logical component group and now delete it .

Hope this should help .

Thank you .

Regards,

Sai

Hello Yogesh,

When we search Logical Component Group in LMDB there is no option to check where our logical Components are being used.

But in 7.1 we have option to check where used for Logical Component.

Please check below screenshot in 7.1. When we search Logical Component in 7.1 we have option to check where our logical Components are used.

But the same option is not present in 7.2.

My requirement is to check where my Logical Component Groups are being used.

Our Solution Manager is 7.2 SPS 04

Vijay

Hello vijay kumar,

Don't you see the screen below when you run LMDB transaction?

What support packs your solution manager on?

Thanks

Yogesh
