Can we delete the depreciation amount which was posted in the year 2005 .Please let me know how to do it

I am unable to understand your querry, But as per my understandind , Already the same is posted and fiscal years are also closed then thereis no way to delet

you can then just write-off depreciation posted in the previous years via tcode ABZU, use transaction type = 700.

It does not matter whether or not the posting period is open or closed. In a "live" environment, you CANNOT REVERSE posted depreciation. This is only possible if your company code is in "test" status for asset accounting.
