Hi Jaya,

In SAP, Dont apply mind, jsut use common sense.

As Name implies, Triggering event, which trigger some thing ..and triggering event for workflow means even which triggers the workflow.

When event get triggered?

Any work has been perfomed, suppose u change the purchase order. when this changes get reflected to Data base, a changed event get triggered.

Use Tcode for Business object

BAPI

SWO1

and there are lots of documentation in the sap.

Cheers,

Hi,

These are very basic think if you are working with WF you should know these..

Anyway when every you do any standard transaction the is some related events are triggered and events are defined in business objects.

In transaction SWE2 you have to define the linkage means you have to define at which event WF is to be triggered and for sending mail to Outlook you can use program - RSWUWFML2.

So many question in one thread:)))

Check the following link for event

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/c5/e4aec8453d11d189430000e829fbbd/content.htm

You have to do configuration in SWE2 for event linkage.

Thanks
