Delete email address from contact person

I have to delete the email address of many contact persons.

I‘ve tried to delete the corresponding entry in table adr6 but it‘s not working. I think it has to be deleted somewhere else too.

Hi Robin.

deleting directly from tables is not a good idea, unless you really know what you are doing.

You need to see what type of addresses you want to delete.. as the email address is part of communication data which can be address independent or address dependent.

In the second case, when you are mentionining contact person, is this the email of a private address of the contact person or is this the email on the contact relationship (in this case the table is BUT051).
