Hi All,

I have defined a characteristic varibale taking value from user ZFISPER.I am calculating 2 column one on ZFISPER and other on ZFISPER-1 ,hence when I use text variable to get the value of this variable in header I am not getting the value.

I want to write a code to get the text variable populated when user enter value for ZFISPER.

Can someone please help me in the code.

and also guide me for the approach.

    Hi surbhi,

    Check this code which might help you !

    WHEN 'ZTEXT'.

    CLEAR l_s_range.

    read table i_t_var_range with key vnam = ' ZFISPER' into l_s_var_range.

    l_Ttext = l_s_var_range-low.

    (After the user inputs the value for ZFISPER it will read the value and update it in the l_text)

    L_S_RANGE-LOW = l_text.

    L_S_RANGE-SIGN = 'I'.

    L_S_RANGE-OPT = 'EQ'.

    APPEND L_S_RANGE-LOW TO E_T_RANGE.

    Hope this might help you.

    Define a text variable with mandatory and uncheck the ready for input.

    Regards

    Ram
